1 whole sea bream

1 lemon

1 red onion

2 garlic cloves

2–3 sprigs of thyme or rosemary

2 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

2. Rinse and pat the sea bream dry

3. Season the outside of the fish with salt and pepper.

4. Place the fish in an ovenproof dish and arrange lemon and onion slices around and on top of it.

5. Add crushed garlic cloves, red onion slices, and the herbs on top of the fish.

6. Drizzle with olive oil.

7. Bake for 25–30 minutes.

8. Baste the fish with its juices during cooking.
